Job Description:
We are seeking a Grants and Fundraising Officer who is committed and passionate about the environmental cause. The successful candidate will be responsible, along with the General Directorate and the Finance Directorate, for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and writing grant proposals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve the organization's financial objectives.
Write and present proposals for subsidies to public and private entities.
Coordinate and organize fundraising events.
Prepare impact reports and acknowledgments for donors and funders.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
Requirements:
University degree in areas related to administration, accounting, finance, communications, marketing, or similar.
Experience working in fundraising, grant development or similar roles.
Exceptional writing and communication skills in English and Dutch
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Organization and time management skills and attention to detail.
Passion to work on environmental and sustainability issues.

Terms and Conditions:
This position is to join our team of volunteers who wish to be part of the Embrace the Earth organizational body. Therefore, this is not a paid position. Our volunteers are expected to commit to working remotely 2-3 hours daily, although there is flexibility in scheduling. The ideal for our organization is to find volunteers who wish to be part of it on a long-term basis, however, applications for unpaid internships are also a possibility. Let us know in your motivation letter what is best for you.
The minimum duration of the internship is 3 months.
English is the official language of the organization but for this position Dutch is required .
